What I Don’t Own

I used to own all of these things, maybe even multiples of these things, but once I got rid of them, I never needed them again.

Beauty Products

  • body sprays
  • body lotions
  • razors (I wax)
  • shaving cream
  • acne medicine
  • cuticle remover
  • eye cream
  • ped egg
  • nail polish
  • comb
*I will do a separate post on my makeup

Fashion

  • tarnishable, cheap jewelry
  • multiple purses (you only need one)
  • watch
  • stained/too big/too small clothes

Hair Products

  • volumizing products
  • dry shampoo
  • straightener (I am blessed to have naturally straight hair)
  • hair curler
  • strengtheners
  • deep conditioners (coconut oil does miracles)
  • hair dye
  • styling tools
  • heat protectant
Wow, I didn’t realize how much I owned!

Appliances/Electronics

  • TV
  • toaster
  • video games
  • Keurig (basically a waste producing machine)
  • crockpot
  • waffle maker
  • Kitchenaid mixers
  • extension cords — it’s just asking you to plug more in
  • DVD/CDs and players
I am still working on getting rid of my microwave.

Office Supplies

  • paper calendar
  • colored pens
  • my large supply of notebooks (cause they were too damn cute not to buy!)
  • old textbooks
  • alarm clock
  • paperclips
  • post-it notes
  • highlighters
  • file folers
  • paper tray
  • mouse/mousepad

Decor

  • decorative pillows
  • childhood stuffed animals (I only own one now)
  • holiday/seasonal decor
  • candles (I’ve seen girls own a cabinet full of them). Fresh air is so much better.

Random

  • keychains/souvenirs from travels
  • ice cube trays
  • exercise machines (get outside!)
  • old earphones
  • concert T-shirts (sorry, Tay)
  • junk food
  • games/puzzles
  • storage units

And I repeat, I used to own ALL of these things. Do I miss/need any of it today? Absolutely not.

      1. May be share to the world, images of your previous life to the new life. I know what it goes like when you say through words, but often an image speaks more than words !
